Something Smelly?

Something Smelly?

by Dr. Pamela Frank, BSc(Hons), ND

When it comes to just about anything, I’m a real root cause type of person. If something smells bad in my home, I try to determine the source and eliminate it. I choose not to use air fresheners for a couple of reasons:

– They only mask the odor, they don’t treat the root cause of it.

– Anything that you smell, has entered your body via the nose. Air fresheners are packed full of cancer causing chemicals that we introduce into our bodies via our noses. People who would never dream of smoking a cigarette accomplish the same feat by filling their air with pretty smelling air fresheners.

– Our poor livers are already so overtaxed with the chemicals we ingest, inhale and drink from our polluted air, food and water, why add to their congestion?

Speaking of liver congestion, fall is a perfect time to support healthy liver detoxification.

We recommend using our DTX Plex which is a combination of the all the vitamins, minerals, amino acids and herbs for liver detoxification wrapped into one product. Ingredients such as B vitamins, magnesium, amino acids like l-methionine, histidine, serine, NAC, herbs like grape seed extract, milk thistle, kudzu root, along with nutraceuticals like DIM and calcium-d-glucarate.
I also wanted to pass along a tip I got from a couple of my readers about natural deodorants, they highly recommended a product called Dr. Mist. You can check it out at http://www.DrMist.ca (I have no affiliation with this company).
